In order that

the detainees don’t feel cut from humanity,

but also in order that

the authorities of the detention centre know that their situation is followed from outside.

Living conditions in the detention centre are very hard, there are sometimes up to 600 detainees, women and kids together, in the same cell…

Therefore, one letter (in English or Tamil, please…) can

help to survive present time while hoping for a better future
